a quiet Sunday....

Our house faces West so in the afternoon the backyard is in the shade and on hot summer days it's really nice to go out and sit back there (Jeremy complains about mosquitoes but I'm from south Florida, mosquitoes were part of life! haha ;P ). We decided to have a nice sunday afternoon outside since Aiden keeps asking me for bubbles (he just walks around the house saying "bubble bubble bubble" and occassionally standing by the window longingly). We got some lawn chairs for now for when we have company over and want to eat outside since we won't do a deck until at least next summer so I hung out and watched Aiden play.

It's very difficult to explain to a toddler that if he gets too close to his lazy mother who doesn't want to get out of her chair to back up that the wide angle lens will distort his face. But he's still manages to look adorable in the photos so I guess I can't complain too much haha :)

Aiden loves his sandals haha, he won't go on the grass unless I put them on him. They sure are cute even if they do give him stink foot. haha!

My sweet husband making us some dinner. Oh and see where AIden's trucks are? He has this big backyard and his favorite place to play is the tiny little porch/deck. See why we need a bigger deck haha? Next summer hopefully :)

I know he's trying to say something, if I only I knew what it was half the time

Ah there's the normal grump face he usually puts on for the camera

"enough already mom!"

my two boys snuggling :)

Aiden was feeling left out so we got him his own chair (CARS of course lol)

I'm so lucky that my son gives me such loving looks all the time....punk....

After dinner Aiden was thrown in the bath and after putting him to bed I went to water the flowers. The neighbors were doing some big fireworks in the sky so I went inside and go figure Aiden was still awake playing (the consequences of taking the side rail off the crib) and so I went upstairs and opened his window and we watched the fireworks for a few minutes until he got so tired he could barely stay awake (which took all of 10 minutes) and then I put him back down and he finally went to sleep. A great Sunday afternoon if I do say so myself.
