Busy busy weekend

We have had lots of visitors this summer, it's been our busiest summer yet. This weekend both our parents came into town. Jeremy's parents came to go to a wedding and while they were here we were able to go to the zoo.

the baby came right up to me and stuck his(her?) little head out

Aiden did not like the merry go round (which he used to love, you could really tell it was nap time...)

Aiden was drinking Grandma's water and dumped it down his front and then he hated being wet so we had a little hobo child temporarily. After that he also didn't trust water bottles anymore

 

he was really excited to see the turtles!

It was a fun day and he did great considering it was nap time. They left the next day and then my parents came! It was the first time they'd seen the house and the first time we had somewhere for them to sleep so they stayed with us which was a lot of fun. Aunt Tina got Aiden some CARS cars from their Disney trip a while back and he LOVES them. They have to go with him everywhere! Yesterday we got to go shopping and get Aiden a much needed winter wardrobe (for under $50, I LOVE holiday sales!) and Grandma Thompson got him this puzzle which he loves. His favorite is the train and the "bike" (motorcycle). Everytime he does the train he says "choo choo" and on his second try he was able to put all the pieces where they go without any help from mom! What a smart boy (especially considering this is his first puzzle ever!). It's a bit long (3 mins) I usually don't like to do videos longer than a minute (I like to assume everyone has the short attention span I have haha) so sorry but I was lazy today.
