Getting ready for Baby Girl...

This is an older group of pictures but I am lazily just now getting around to it. After my photoshop crashed while editing my maternity photos I needed a break for my sanity with some easy stuff. It was very therapeutic because I was about to lose it. Sadly my laptop is reaching the end of it's life span. The thing is almost 3 years old and it's a Dell so of course it's dying. I've replaced the motherboard, hard drive and fan and now the battery and graphics card are failing and even though I've just had it serviced and cleaned up it still manages to crash my photoshop on a daily basis. I hate it. Editing will soon be moved to my IMAC as soon as I can buy a calibrator to calibrate the thing. But enough of my electronics ranting. We bought the crib a few weeks back (since Aiden decided his old one was a teething toy and I wanted a nicer one anyways) and Aiden was really excited to help me build it. I've tried to involved him as much as possible in the baby stuff now that we are getting so close to her arrival. He is a REALLY good shopping buddy because he says everything is the cutest and that it's all his favorite haha.

I brought my camera up to take some pictures of us working and Aiden sees it and goes "Mom, take a picture of me! CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE!!!" It was just so cute I couldn't resist (although I may murder whoever or whatever show taught my child "cheese". It's natural smile suicide....). Also don't mind that the crop on some of these photos is weird, it's hard to hold a camera steady when you're laughing lol

Ready to work

Mom...I'm trying to read the instructions (yes, I will teach my boy(s) to actually read instructions ;P )

Hmmm...

He was such a good helper and went around telling everyone he could that HE built baby sister's crib (why do I bother doing things...between Jeremy and Aiden I don't ever get any credit lol). I have been working on the baby's room quite a bit over the past month, it's painted, I sewed curtains and I made a baby mobile which looks AWESOME (if I do say so myself), but rather than show you pictures of it piece by piece I thought I'd let it be a surprise and show it when it's all done when my awesome mother in law finishes the baby bedding set (because she loves me that much that when picky obnoxious me couldn't find a set I liked she agreed to make me one.) I am working on all the Hawaii pics so expect those soon as well! 6 weeks to go...
