Snow Day

There are a ton of pictures today but I haven't been taking as many pictures lately and I feel like I need to remember these times when I just have one around to take pictures of. Also since we live in the wetlands of Lehi (lol) the snow melts here and we don't get as many of these snowy days.

At first Aiden was a bit skeptical, just checking things out. 

If there's one thing he loves about the snow it's snowballs. This year he can do them himself so here he is making one and eyeing his target (me!).

And it's off! It wasn't much of anything and obviously never came close to hitting me (thus the confidence in taking the photo) but he can make them himself this year so I made a big fuss about it anyways haha.

Normally when he's outside he just plays on the porch/deck thing (if you can even call it that), I don't know what this kid's aversion to grass is but he's been like that since he was a baby. So him braving it for the snow was pretty impressive.

And he just jumped in and got right up in there

Mommy even made a little snowman (little snow - little snowman. Which was a shame because it was perfect snowman making snow)

Snowmen don't last long around Aiden

Despite it's small stature he felt the need to full on body slam it

But then of course you have to rebuild it

so that you can knock it down again with a running start from all the way back at the fence

whew that was a lot of work

And then because he is a boy, when the sun comes out and a bug is drowning in the melting snow he feels the need to save it (even though he probably smashed it in the process...), and of course shove it in mom's face (you think my hand is holding it out for the camera but in reality I'm keeping it away from my face because I literally mean he tries to shove it in my face)

It was lots of fun :) I'm excited for more of these snow days (while I'm still excited for them and not sick of them haha)
