Getting ready for Christmas

We actually decorated Thanksgiving weekend but I've been getting pictures together and everything so it's a little late. Since Jeremy had his surgery he wasn't able to put lights up for us so I asked my little brother if he could do it. He was not only nice enough to come do our lights but brave enough to do the 2nd story (which Jeremy says he will never be able to do... lame). I was so excited because it looks SO much better to have the second story done. I almost cried but that happens at the drop of a dime lately so that's not really saying much.

It looks awesome I love it :). We also decorated the tree and Aiden was able to put the star on top mostly unassisted...kind of....kind of unassisted lol.

It did not want to stay on the tree but we did eventually get it up there haha

I decided it would be fun this year to post a little look at Aiden's past trips to see Santa...

2010 - Again perfection, a perfect smile

2011 - this is where we began to stray...he was distracted by candy. Candy is my nemesis.

 

 2012 - Hopped up on candy...I told you it was my nemesis. At least he's smiling this year. As you can see we try to do a different location each year and this year we did the new outlet mall up by Traverse Mountain. The sad thing is it was this gorgeous set up with a big cutely decorated tree and a gorgeous huge fireplace in the background but she cropped it all out :\

That's our Christmas so far. We're hoping to go to zoo lights this year and we'll do temple square and Thanksgiving Point like we always do so more Christmas pictures soon!
