First we went to visit her family. They had built a truck and train for kids and Aiden and Blake were loving it.
After visiting her family we grabbed some dinner and sat down to eat and watch the parade.
There were like 20 different pageant girl groups, they clearly do a lot of pageants. Some of which are for beef and cheese. No. I am not kidding.
This was the hugest tractor ever...I have no idea what purpose it serves but it was ginormous
This was funny just because it was so random. Tractors, floats for local businesses, pageant girls and....star wars?
The place where we got lunch gave out cowboy hats as their kids meal toy. Really? And of course the best way to eat is just with your face, no hands
Good thing they were so cute wearing them
Getting ready to go get some candy, the people in the floats and stuff were throwing out taffy
and drooling over "Blakey's sowa"
After the parade we headed over to the carnival for a few rides before catching the rodeo. This was Aiden's favorite part, he LOVED the rides
Then it was time for the rodeo. We only got to stay for a little bit of it because it was a 2 1/2 hour drive home and by 9 Aiden was melting down so there was no way he was making it to 11 (let's be honest, Jeremy and I weren't making it that long either haha).
It was a fun day (although exhausting whew! They pack a lot of stuff in that one day!) and Aiden loved it even though he was tired so I'm glad we got to go. Maybe next year we'll go to the one 5 minutes from our house here in Lehi though ;P
