Wasps and Walks

So Aiden still can't go outside because these are the most stubborn wasps but on Saturday daddy came to the rescue and we were able to get the kiddie pool out and let Aiden play. (don't mind the iphone pictures I didn't want to worry about running away from possible wasps near water with my camera and the Nikon hasn't been unpacked yet.)

At first he didn't want anything to do with the pool. The water (that had been sitting in the hot son for hours) was too COLD. Little wimp. But even though the hose is colder it was ok!?!?! I don't get him...

Finally got him in the pool...with a scowl on his face

which turned into tears as soon as he fell a minute later...

Being in the warm bath was MUCH better.

And going out for ice cream after was even better. Overall a really good Saturday :)

Sunday it was nice and cool outside so we went for a walk around the block. My favorite alternative to playing outside in the backyard when there's wasps around. Good thing Aiden loves it just as much :) He also loves flowers (or "fowe" as he likes to say it), and he carries them and sniffs them and blows on them (he thinks they are all the ones with the white puff balls that you blow on and the seeds blow away...I don't know what they're called haha)

Anytime he got close he would duck his head to hide from the camera. PUNK!

Every few steps he would drop his flowers just so he could say "UH OH!" and pick them back up lol

he needed a break haha

I asked him where his flowers were "there it is!" (he actually says "they i i")
