Braving the wasps for Aiden

We FINALLY got rid of all the nests, I think the end count was 21 or 22. We are now going on 3 or 4 days with no more nests YAY! There are still a few wasps that hang out on the top of the playset but they either fly away or they just hang out up there....all day. We've been checking but there are no nests and even when me and Aiden are playing around the playset they leave us alone. I decided they are sunbathing.

We got Aiden a CARS basketball since he doesn't have a basketball yet and it was so cute I couldn't resist and Aiden's Uncle Keith-o gave him this soccer ball and Aiden was determined to carry both at the same time. This face is what he did when he realized he couldn't and that I was just laughing at him...haha

He finally settled with one at a time.

This is how Aiden points at things haha

Funny story, I was sitting out in the sun the other day and since my hair is freakishly long now(for me anyways) I couldn't stand it and I forgot a hair tie so I ripped the elastic off my lens cap and used that and now Aiden thinks it's hilarious to take the sad little string that is left on the lens cap and bounce it.

The lone sun bather. I only forgave him for doing it on my playset because he didn't sting me or Aiden (speaking of which when Jeremy was little he was allergic and while it wasn't life threatening it would swell up really bad. Does anyone know what I could give Aiden were he to get stung and have a reaction to it? I can't find infant/children's benedryl anywhere...). Don't mind the dead ones in the trap, my husband has not yet emptied out the trap and reset it up and it grosses me out just to look at it haha.

Aiden loves running around the playset and walking under the slide and climbing wall.

When Aiden calls me he just yells "MOM!" really quick and usually runs and hugs my legs. It's pretty cute....

We are starting to feel settled in our home finally. There is only one box left that can be unpacked right now (the rest is camera stuff that is waiting until I set up the studio and shoes which I have not yet decided where I want them).

Hopefully we are wasp free now and I found paint that matches the walls so I can do some touch up work. I just need to figure out what I want to do with our dvds and the giant bean bag (I'll explain that in a post later today) and the family room will be done, I am waiting on a few things to be shipped for the living room and I need to get some candles and sew the pillow covers (yuck...) and the living room will be done, Aiden's room just needs a few final touches and then we should be done! Well with the inside anyways. There's a few landscaping projects we are tackling this summer to get the outside looking gorgeous and then we'll really be done. I'm having so much fun with all these projects and while I'm more exhausted then I've ever been in my life both mentally and physically (ha!) I am really happy with how everything is turning out. I will post pictures later today of the kitchen and family room sorry it's taken me so long! They are my favorite rooms too haha!

with the allergy stuff, we were told to get childrens benedryl and call the pharmacist to ask how much to give them. We were thinking Olivia might be having an allergic reaction to something, but then she started getting better so we didn't end up giving her any.
