FINALLY some pictures of the house

So I started various projects throughout the entire house and haven't posted any pictures because none of them were finished. The kitchen actually is finished but for some reason every time I clean it I forget to take a picture so hopefully I will remember that soon. For now this is all I've got! Our master bedroom is finished since it was one of the easier rooms.

I probably should have taken these in the morning when the sun is shining in those windows but I didn't so they are a bit dim but you get the idea. We needed to replace our bedding because our old bedding was polyester and Jeremy apparently hates polyester bedding so I had to find a cotton blend with the color scheme I wanted. I loved our blue towels from our old bedroom so I knew blue was staying. The grey came into play when I was watching HGTV and they said that grey is the most pleasing color to the eye because it's the ultimate neutral. I wanted our bedroom to be a place to relax so grey seemed like the way to go. And since the inspiration came from HGTV we went ahead and got their comforter set haha.

I saw these curtains in purple a long time ago and LOVED them (I have been wanting to do a purple room for a long time, I'm still working on that one but its getting there.) and since I don't have any windows in the purple room I had to find a place for them. I loved them so much I got them in two different colors and put them downstairs as well (photos of that soon).

Our bedding set, fresh out of the bag so ignore the wrinkles I haven't had time to steam it straight (I'm still hoping it'll just flatten out with some time haha).

Just wanted to show the high ceilings so you get the full effect of the room. Who wouldn't want to just dive into this room? I love it :)

The master bath isn't close to being finished and may be an ongoing project for a long time. It has cherry cabinets that I hate (ha) and I'm not in love with the vinyl floors so the hope is that in a couple years when we save up some money for a project this big (yikes haha) we will take the grey tile that they have downstairs and use that for the master bath and get some new cabinets (or a paint job) and some new countertops and it will really look gorgeous.

Looks good.. I love the color. FYI, at Home Depot they have vanities and counter tops as a set for just a couple hundred bucks... like nice ones. That's what we're going to do in 3 of our bathrooms :-)

In a dark wood like my bedroom furniture? Do they have a double vanity? I thought I checked home depot but maybe it was lowe's

Checked online and the double vanities start at $1200+ :( very lame... Thanks for the tip though it was worth a try. I love their single vanities though, I might replace the pedestal sink downstairs with one if I end up deciding I like the vanity better :)
