Traditions...plus surprise Thanksgiving leftover recipe-MUST TRY

I was a very lucky girl growing up and had a mom who LOVED holidays and made each one a huge deal. The house was always covered in decorations and we always had traditions and they made each holiday so special for us growing up. Jeremy teases me for wanting his birthday to always be a BIG deal and for wanting to add to our decorations every year (but secretly I know he loves it...) but I want Aiden to get the special holidays I got growing up! What's so amazing is I also have in-laws who have fun traditions so I can combine thme and have Super holidays hahha! Last year Mim gave us this Advent train and I was SO excited because I remember my mom had this Christmas calendar with a little mouse that we got to take turns moving each day and we always fought over it ha! We all loved that little mouse and I was so excited to have a similar tradition to start with my family. This one has candy in each of the little boxes that we get to eat each day until Christmas Eve (or in this years case until the day before that because we are going to Washington). We got to start it last night, it was so fun!

(we only gave him a tiny piece lol I don't just load him up with candy)

"mmmmm!"

and of course....my child will walk for the Christmas tree but not for me...such is my life

OH! and I totally forgot I had these, this is from when Ricker and Mim and Ashley were here a few weeks ago. This is how Ricker does baby powder....

ESCAPE!

After this Ricker almost put Aiden's diaper on inside out, I never knew diaper changing could be such an ordeal haha! We were all dying laughing though

And then because I love you all so much I am going to share this oh so delicious recipe with you. If you are anything like me then you HATE HATE HATE leftovers. This includes Thanksgiving leftovers (shocking i know...) and so I went on a search to find a delicious and easy recipe and I definitely found it. ENJOY!

Makes: 4-6 servings Prep: 10 minutes Bake: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

4 cups already made stuffing (thanksgiving leftover stuffing!)

10 ounces cooked broccoli (you could also use any green vegetable that you have leftover from thanksgiving like celery or asparagus or green beans etc)

2 cups cooked turkey

1 can Campbell's cream of broccoli OR cream of celery (basically any "Campbell's cream of..." can be used here)

1/2 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (we used cheddar jack blend)

Steps:

1. Spoon stuffing into 11x8/11x9 dish. Arrange broccoli(or other vegetable) and turkey over the stuffing.

2. Stir the soup, milk and 1/2c of the cheese in a small bowl. Pour over the turkey mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

3. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until hot and cheese is melted.

HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!! Basically the greatest thing ever, it gets rid of basically all of your Thanksgiving leftovers and it's DELICIOUS and you don't feel like you're eating leftovers it tastes FRESH and delicious. Hope you all give it a try and enjoy!
