Kaitlyn's 3rd Birthday

The saturday before Kaitlyn's birthday we did a party for her with some of her cousins. We wanted to keep the party small because at 8 months pregnant I can't handle much lol. Also because of the move we didn't do one at our house and instead did it at Funtopia. I think Kaitlyn really enjoyed it though so it was a success! Unfortunately she woke up at 6am instead of closer to 8 like she usually does and the only available time they had (even though I booked it like a month in advance) was right at nap time, but what can you do.

I tried to dress up festive for Kaitlyn's birthday and this is the only photo of me that day, I swear I was there I was just taking the photos lol.

Happy birthday girl

"I free!"

Before the kids could climb they had to watch a safety video, which despite looking very boring was apparently extremely fascinating because they were all glued to it haha

On their website it just said for all ages and somewhere I missed the part where you had to be 35 lbs (she's 27). She didn't weigh enough to pull the pullies back down haha. She was also a little short to be able to reach to climb in some spots but we helped her (mostly Jeremy because mom was sitting down having contractions...sigh) and she had so much fun

She's fearless

We got Aiden to climb maybe twice and not more than a few steps but at least he tried lol. He enjoyed playing with the blocks the whole time at least

Blake wasn't messing around, she didn't even bother using her legs, she was just doing straight up pull-ups. It was so funny....and impressive lol

I tried just chucking Aiden into the air to show him how slowly it would lower him down so he wouldn't be afraid but it didn't really work. Aiden had Aunt Jamie help him after that haha...

Having fun with Cooper

It really worked out that even though all the cousins are different ages they all had lots of fun at this place.

I bought her this adorable birthday dress before we decided what we were going to do for her party, she obviously couldn't wear it for climbing and sadly by the time she was done she was so tired at this point that she was having none of it. So mom gave up, hopefully she'll wear it for her 3 year old photos. If not then it's a good thing she's having a baby sister haha.

Completely pooped, poor little bug didn't even make the 5 minute car ride home.

So grateful to everyone who came to her party and helped make it special for her, she had so much fun and loved all the attention and gifts!
On her actual birthday Jeremy took the day off so we could make it a special day for her

Her own makeup set. If you have a toddler/preschooler who gets into your makeup I highly suggest this. She hasn't touched my makeup since lol. The eyeshadows and everything are just foam but she loves it.

Mommy attempted a new hairstyle for her birthday

She wore the dress! Yay!! As soon as we got back home after the day, she immediately wanted it off but I'll take it lol

I'm 8 months pregnant so I won't even try to make an excuse for my expression. She loves to brush my hair and is actually pretty good about being soft and careful.

We took her to kangaroo zoo after dropping Aiden off at school since it's just around the corner

She loved the giant slides, she was even brave enough to go alone a couple times

A bit fast so she tumbled lol

Doing daddy's makeup while waiting for lunch

Her food was too hot so she used the blow dryer to blow it cool

We took her home for a nap and waited for Aiden to get home to celebrate with us. She wanted pizza for dinner and then we had cupcakes!

She seemed to really enjoy all her birthday celebrations. With the move and the baby coming I wanted to make sure she didn't feel neglected at all so we wanted to make a big deal out of her before all the stresses start. Including hopefully potty training...yikes lol.

She's so cute. You look great. And your family is just plain adorable. The end.
