Trip to Cedar City - Thursday and Friday

My dad's west coast family does a mini family reunion for the fourth of july so we decided to go down this year for it. It was Kaitlyn's first vacation and she did amazing. She is seriously the easiest happiest baby, Aiden never traveled near as well as she does (which is why we don't travel often!). He actually did pretty well too though, there were a lot of distractions so he didn't really get cranky until the last day or two we were there.

On the way to Cedar City with Optimus Primus...at least that's what Aiden calls him

 

 Kaitlyn was getting carseat rashes so we got her some cushions and the only ones I could find have monkeys. SHE LOVES THEM. As soon as I sit her in her carseat she starts rooting around for the monkeys so she can chew on them. Funny funny girl!

The first night we got there we hung out with family and then went to watch fireworks but it was raining so they started them late and I gave up after half an hour of waiting to go put Kaitlyn to bed so I missed the fireworks :( (which didn't start until 10!)

The next day we went four wheeling. Aiden hated it.

I did a bit better than Aiden, it was scary at first up the steep parts but I got the hang of it pretty quick and really enjoyed it. Would love to go again sometime!

After four wheeling we went to see Despicable Me 2 which was great, Kaitlyn slept through the whole thing. Seriously have I said it enough how lucky I am she is such an easy baby? Aiden insisted on taking a photo with the monsters

We got back to the house to hang out with family some more. Here is Kaitlyn with my Uncle David and my dad

After a long day the kids seemed too excited to go to sleep

eventually they crashed. Aiden didn't know what to do with himself in a queen size bed
