Christmas Day

We got up and I ran downstairs and grabbed the camera and waited for Aiden. He looked down from the top of the stairs and shouts "A BASKETBALL GAME!!!" and then he came scrambling down the stairs.

I wish this picture could better portray the speed and excitement with which he did this but it's the best I've got. I really wish I had videoed it instead it was so funny haha

We lowered it a bit more for him and he was able to make quite a few baskets and he loves it. Thank you Santa!

Then he saw his guitar from Santa and was SO EXCITED he had to immediately rock out

on the floor was easier

there we go!

He was rocking out until he rocked out too hard and slammed the guitar on his knee..."I hurt my leg...". He also decided he could only rock out without his pants on lol.

Digging in to his stocking filled with gifts from Santa

"oh I lub dis!"

anything else in there?

candy! which of course warrants a happy dance

Aiden was so excited with the stuff he got we felt he could use a little break to play with and enjoy them so we decided to open our gifts. Aiden saw more presents and came over to help though. Also Jeremy has the shakiest hands on the planet so excuse the blurry pictures. I need to invest in a nice point and shoot for him haha...

a Coach purse for mom(LOVE IT)! Aiden decided these presents weren't very exciting so he went back to playing with his toys while we finished opening our gifts.

Urban Decay make up from Mim that I've been drooling over for months :)

And a new iron to me and Jeremy from Mim. Not just any iron this is like the super iron of all irons. We have always just had a cheap sunbeam iron and it sucked and so I hated ironing because it was such a pain. What I did not realize was owning a super iron makes it so it's no longer a pain and after using Mim's iron at her house one time I knew I had to have one. You know you're a house wife when you get really excited about irons for Christmas haha.

My ipad mini, clearly I had no idea this one was coming (ha not, it was my best fake surprised face lol).

And my only real surprise gift (Jeremy and I always do at least one gift that is a complete surprise), a Coach wallet to go with my purse!

Jeremy's surprise gift. I promise he wasn't unhappy with it he just didn't know what it was at this point and for some reason this is the only picture I have but I got him some new nice cologne (Spice Bomb by Viktor & Rolf, it smells AWESOME and I was sneaky and off handedly had him smell it months before so I knew he liked it but he was still surprised. And he really does love it)

and a half surprise scarf (he asked for a scarf he just didn't know which one I got)

Jeremy's Ipad 2

And a case from his mom

Aiden seemed ready for more presents at this point so we had him open the rest of his.

"UMI CAR!!!" (he has been asking for an umi car for MONTHS). Grandma and Grandpa Thompson got him this one too, he was SO excited

It was so cute how excited he was over everything, this was the first year where he really understood what was going on and was really excited for it all so it was so much fun. Seriously you don't know how much fun Christmas can be until you're a mom :)

"what is it what is it!?"

A car track from Grandma and Grandpa Thompson!

he loves tools so this year we got him some power tools

Grandpa Thompson LOVES tools so we had Aiden open his other power tool with Grandpa

He also got a remote control umi car that he loves and has even figured out how to drive for the most part but for some reason I don't have any pictures of it lol

He decided his car track needed fixing

Such a fun Christmas, Aiden went around afterwards saying "i love dis and i love dis toy and i love dis..." it was so cute. The next day my parents flew home and Jeremy's drove in so Aiden was only traumatized for a tiny bit before more grandparents came to play. He opened his presents from them that night (which again I weirdly don't have pictures of.) he got a grill play set from Nana and Papa Jones and he LOVES it, he loves play food and has a lot of fun with the grill. This summer it will be so fun to see him out there grilling with dad. I also had fallen in love with a shark bath robe that I saw online for babies but I couldn't find a toddler version so I asked Jeremy's mom if she could make me one and because she is so awesome she agreed :) I absolutely love it and he is SO ADORABLE in it. Last night when we gave him a bath and he put it on he yelled out "SHARK ATTACK!" and jumped on me pretending to eat me. It was so funny we were all dying. So cute :)!!

And just for fun here are our ipads. Living with Jeremy you can't leave anything sitting around or it gets sabotaged...this time by a picture of his face in the background.
