Oh what a day

I don't know why I thought it would be possible to watch conference with an almost 2 year old around but I tried anyways. Here are some of Aiden's amusing antics (which obviously I had to take pictures of) while mom was attempting to have a quiet Saturday...

testing how soft his chair padding is? By his face I think he was expecting it to hurt

I promise I don't answer the phone like this, we have no idea where he got this from. He just puts the phone on his head (no matter how many times we've tried to get him to put it to his ear) and says "eh oh"

My son usually has clothes on but he was out of pants and so it was a laundry day which for him means a diaper day

I put the little snake lens pet (basically a scrunchie with a snake face on it that goes over my camera lens) on my camera so Aiden came over and said "ssssss ssssss nake!" (he can make a hissing sound but says nake instead of snake...I don't get it)

I am the type of person who is a huge fan of one stop shops. I don't like to go to 3 different craft stores just to make 1 craft. Ridiculous. Which made today an especially trying day for me. Hobby lobby's wood section is kind of sad and every time I've gone they've never had what I needed but since the other craft stores are 20 minutes away when Hobby Lobby is only 5 I keep trying and hoping they will magically have what I need. Today was no different and yet again I gave up the whole craft in frustration. That and I was already tired from going to an antique show (which didn't have what I was looking for either but at least I wasn't really expecting it to) and the South Towne Mall for a new winter church outfit for Aiden (which they didn't have in his size) so I was burnt out from places not having what I needed. And it was crazy crowded. Craft store in UTAH right after CONFERENCE....what was I thinking...

I'm starting to remember why I don't do crafts....
