Bye babies! It was hard to leave the kids, but it always is for me.
On the plane!
When we got to the hotel they had us go down to the boats to take a ride through the lagoon to our dock outside our room where our butler met us (yeah it was fancy...lol)
The outdoor area to our room, we had a plunge pool hot tub overlooking the lagoon(but don't go swimming in there, there are crocodiles!)
It was so beautiful and relaxing there, and very weird to go from a gorgeous lagoon to the beach in the same hotel
I wasn't dressed for the beach because we were headed to 5th Ave in Playa Del Carmen but we stopped at the beach to relax a bit
It was a fun little shop strip, we got some souvenirs and had fun enjoying the scenery
Want a fish massage? They suck your feet lol
We headed back to the hotel for dinner where we had some delicious buffet style tacos and live music
The next day we were going to go to the natural theme park for some snorkeling but the group we were with couldn't go because one of them was hurt so we went down to the beach to relax instead. The water was too rough for snorkeling but Jeremy braved it.
We went out for dinner at their top rated Italian restaurant and it was SO delicious
Room service dessert because I was too stuffed after dinner haha
The next day Jeremy went golfing at their golf course (it's had PGA tournaments before so it was a really nice course) and I went with some friends to do the hotels eco tour
These birds use their long beaks to pull snails out of the shells and eat them, so all over the place you find empty snail shells lol
Cenote
small young crocodile
Big Mama (about 9-10 feet)
her boyfriend lol, this guy was right outside someone's dock to their room - yikes!
the best nachos ever and a virgin margarita
Saw these guys from lunch
We went to enjoy a swim in the plunge pool since the water was too rough and saw these guys off our dock
Corporate dinner in Playa Del Carmen, it was SO yummy and then we stayed to watch the superbowl
Last view before we had to leave the next morning
It was such a relaxing trip and so beautiful. I got my first passport and passport stamp so that was fun too! Glad we have the opportunity to go on these once in a lifetime trips.
