a story of five: First Trip To Washington

We have 3 siblings getting married this summer, so it has made for lots of traveling. Over the trip we were hopping back and forth like crazy so the easiest way for me to post this is just by family instead of in order lol. SO I will actually start on Saturday..

The Farm : My parents took us to this little carnival farm place and it was so fun, the kids loved it, even though it started pouring haha.

We went on a train right when it started to pour so luckily we didn't get too wet, and then we went to the bounce house and hay maze which were both thankfully covered!

It stopped raining so we went over to the rides. He didn't want to ride the merry go round but the ferris wheel seemed safe 8| weird kid haha.

He even braved the rollercoaster! His first one my brave kid! (although he did need Grandpa's arm around him lol)

Kaitlyn was happy to watch and hang out on mama's back. Don't mind my wild woman hair from the rain and humidity haha...

We finally talked him into the merry go round as an alternative to the real horses haha

He loved it so much he rode it twice!

It was such a fun day I am glad we got to go. We even picked up some yummy salsa and marinade from the farmer's market, we used it the other day on some salmon(the marinade not the salsa haha) and it was DELICIOUS. Snuggles with Grandma while waiting for lunch!

Monday we went to a splash pad to let the kids play for a bit, except we thought it was just a park and when we got there it was a splash pad so the kids just played in their clothes :)

Aiden spent the whole time running all over the place filling up a water bottle and dumping it out so I'm lucky I caught any pictures of him at all lol! Especially since mommy was trying not to soak the camera.

Brrrr! It was so hot out but somehow my little baby managed to start turning blue and shivering haha

Daddy ran to get a blanket and saved the day. She waved bye and hung out happily snuggled up to Grandpa.

Kaitlyn got in some Grandma snuggles so Aiden could play with Grandpa for a while

Kaitlyn was tired and daddy needed to work so it was time to go, Aiden raced Grandpa back to the car. I think he ran for like 2 hours straight while we were there haha.

Tuesday we were with Jeremy's family and then we hopped back for one more day with my family on Wednesday. We took the kids to play at Wiggle Works which they both LOVED, it was a fun little place I wish our malls had stuff like that!
