Meet...our unnamed dog lol

Basically ever since we got married I have been asking Jeremy for a dog. We could never get one because we lived in apartments so we made a deal that once we were settled in our house we would get one. Well we've been in our house since May (can you believe it because I sure can't) and I would consider us pretty settled so after Christmas I started begging for a dog. We started looking and after reaching a dead end at the pet shops and shelters I turned to KSL. For a week I was on it basically 24/7 and finally found one that sounded like a winner.

We went to pick her up and the boy and other girl puppies wanted nothing to do with us and kept running away but this sweet girl came right up and played and then settled right in and cuddled when I picked her up. I was hooked! Aiden didn't really react much because there were so many people and animals and cars and bikes (ha!) which made me worried at first but as soon as he realized we were keeping the puppy he wanted to hold her. Every time I put her on my lap he would start saying "please puppy please puppy!"



She started getting a little stressed (just from the car jiggling, Aiden was very soft with her) so she came back and napped on my lap

She has claimed this blanket at hers. I gave her a soft towel but its an older one that's been out in the garage so apparently it didn't smell like us anymore or something

She sure is cute. I could write a book on how horrendous the last couple nights have been though. She has been having some severe separation anxiety and unless I am sleeping right next to her (which I only did one night out of desperation for some sleep) she cries. All. night. long. And despite all our attempts to muffle the sound it has kept us up at night since we got her. I am severely sleep deprived but hopefully it'll only last a few days and we can all start getting some sleep again. The good news is she was able to go 3 hours all night without needing to go out and has never wet her bed (when I slept by her she was waking me up every 2.). She has had very few accidents in the house and half of them have been because we weren't paying close enough attention. She is so smart and is so good about going to the door to wait for us. She is such a good puppy other than keeping us up all night, I am excited for when she calms down so I can really start enjoying this puppy!

She has been so fun and I am excited to watch her and Aiden grow up together. She's half black lab and half old english shepherd so she won't shed like a lab and her fur is much softer and fluffier and will continue to get fluffier as she gets bigger. Some things I love about her are when she sleeps during the day she always cuddles up to me on the floor or sleeps on my foot and if we are being too loud she'll do this little grumble at us that is so cute. It has been a fun few days but I am seriously exhausted haha. Oh and she's unnamed because we seriously can't come up with a name we like, hopefully we will soon.

Also I love her little patches of white fur. She is so pretty and adorable :)
