I was amazed at how good Aiden was at staying at our campsite and not running all over the place. He loved just playing with his cars and the rocks. He'd get the rocks in his shoes sometimes and then walk around on his tip toes until I came over to get the rocks out haha.
All the cousins except little Blakely who was napping. I tried to catch as much of their playtime without intruding as I could. From what I got Kensie was the princess trapped in the dungeon and Cameron was the evil prince who was keeping her there and Dallin was the prison guard haha.
After lunch we went over to Lake Roosevelt down the road because it had a fun beach and play area for the kids. Aiden needed a nap when we got there so Jamie convinced me and Ashley to go out into the even colder water to go play on the buoys. My out of shape butt barely made it to the buoys before I was out of breath, my excuse is I must have a mild form of asthma lol. We had tons of fun bouncing each other into the water and struggling to get back up after the other people out there left haha. Steve and Jeremy picked Mandy up in her towel and carried her all the way down to the beach and tossed her, towel and all, into the water which had us all laughing. It was so much fun! It was time for Dallin to leave so we tried real quick to get a picture of all the cousins together (the first time we've had them all together since before Aiden and Blakely came along!). While we were waiting for everyone to get situated I couldn't help but capture Blakely and Grandpa playing.
Poor Dallin was exhausted from the week so we weren't able to get a picture of them all together, these were the best I could get. As you can see Aiden was a little grumpy too, he got woken up from his nap haha.
Too bad I didn't have my good camera with me, it is much faster and would have been able to catch Dallin before he ran off. Oh well, should have done it earlier in the week before the kids were all getting tired. But at least it's evidence they were all there together!
Jeremy was able to coax Aiden into the water for a split second before he went too deep (by too deep I mean it wasn't even up to his knees) and he started crying. Hopefully next summer he'll be my little fish again.
