Trip to the Zoo

Jeremy's cousins were headed to the zoo today so they called me and asked if I wanted to come. I was super excited because we've been debating getting a year's Zoo pass and this would let me know if the drive wouldn't bug me too much and if Aiden would do well with it. They let me borrow an umbrella stroller (we've never bought one because Aiden hates strollers). He cried at first but got used to it after a while and only cried if I stopped moving ha. He was ok to walk around as long as we were indoors where there wasn't anywhere to run off and he quickly learned that I would go wherever he wanted I just wanted him to hold my hand so he tolerated it off and on. He hit nap time and had just had it and since his nap time is in the middle of the day I decided he might just still be a little too young for a year's pass. It was fun to go though!

He LOVED the elephants, laughed at them. He growled at the alligator (ha!). He was in love with the monkeys, they were the all time winners. The turtle was his second favorite, he kept following it around and wanted to stay there all day haha.

Snack break

Watching the turtle with his cousin Olivia

He was (gently thankfully) pushing adults aside so he could see the turtle. They all thought it was funny thankfully lol

Olivia wanted to move on to something haha she gave up on Aiden ever leaving that turtle (I tried to get some of Aiden with Carter but I had to keep him in the stroller most of the time and when he was out he wouldn't stay in one place long enough for me to get a picture. Those ones of him and Olivia were seriously taken within a 30 second period before they both moved on to something else lol)

Watching the monkey, he was laughing at it really cute but right when I went to take a picture of it some kid shoved him to the ground to get him out of the way so he could see. Aiden was just bawling and the mom decided just to ignore it rather than actually be a parent. UGH! Lol I seriously think the laziest parents all come to Utah. Aiden was playing and accidently hit a boy in the face and I immediately went over and explained to him to be soft and apologized to the little boy. And Aiden is 18 months. This lady's kid was like 4. COME ON!

 Watching an owl

It was a fun trip but we didn't get to see much else since Aiden was beyond ready for a nap. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot before he'd fallen asleep.
