School and Jeremy's Birthday

Aiden started Kindergarten! I still can't believe it, I may even have cried a little haha. He is getting the new rules and routine down and really starting to enjoy it and make friends. He has a fish on his desk and he gets dots for when he is following the rules and on Friday he got all his dots and got to pick a prize out of the box. He was SO happy and so proud of himself, I was so proud of him too!

Kaitlyn was jealous of all the attention Aiden was getting so she went and grabbed her travel backpack and insisted on posing for the camera too haha. She cried when we dropped Aiden off but I don't know if it was because she was sad he was leaving or jealous that he gets to go to school ha!

Meeting his teacher at Back to School night

Dropping him off!

Love him so much <3.

Jeremy turned 30 this year! We had a bunch of trips this summer for family stuff but I still wanted to do something fun for his birthday so I booked a hotel in park city that weekend of his birthday and we went! We picked Aiden up from school and headed out. After checking in at the hotel we immediately went to the pool. Aiden isn't much of a water bug but Kaitlyn LOVED it

A quick break because it was cold

She couldn't stay away for long though

Aiden just kind of wandered around the pool playing with toys lol

Practicing her swimming skills

He finally stuck his feet in. Don't mind my foot...I was too lazy to edit these haha

She loved jumping in to us. I went in for a while and she kept wanting to get out and jump to me but I forgot the water camera so I didn't get any pictures

My kids are not good jumpers haha

After swimming we went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant (because, where else?) and then came back to the hotel for brownies and ice cream. Kaitlyn spent all night kicking me so I didn't get much sleep so the next morning when Kaitlyn was pointing out the window saying "swim swim swim!", Jeremy took the kids down to go swimming while I stayed in bed lol. I could see them from the window though so I snatched some photos. Kaitlyn loved sticking her feet in the hot tub (which was more warm than hot)

We had breakfast at Einstein's which was delicious, I hate that we don't have one close at home. We were going to go do the Alpine slides with the kids but Aiden was adamant that he didn't want to and online it said Kaitlyn was too little (lame!) so we went to the outlet mall instead so daddy could do some shopping for his birthday. After shopping it was getting late so we headed home but Jeremy had fun so I hope it was a good birthday for him :)
