Christmas

I don't have photos of Thanksgiving because I'm lame I guess I don't know, but we spent it up at Teri's and then did a second Thanksgiving dinner at our house the day after with my siblings. It was lots of yummy food and spending time with family, we really enjoyed it, so much that I didn't take any photos haha.

December Aiden had his first preschool Christmas program. It was fun to go watch him. He sung some of the songs and said his part, it was cute. Feel free to skip the videos on this post, they are long and mostly for Grandmas but pretty adorable all the same haha.

Kaitlyn was ready for a nap but she watched from mommy's back and cheered Aiden on.

We went to the tree lighting ceremony and celebration at the outlet mall this year. It was FREEZING but the kids had fun dancing around to the music and seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus and the giant tree light up. They had a really impressive fireworks show too so all in all it was actually really fun.

We also went and saw the light show at Thanksgiving Point and saw the reindeer. It was warmer than the other night so not too bad and the kids seemed to have fun again. Kaitlyn LOVED the reindeer and dancing around with Kensie on the stage

That was about all the Christmas celebration stuff we did this year, it was more of a relaxed year. Aiden was very excited for Christmas this year which was very fun. He enjoyed giving gifts as much as getting them and was just as excited for others as he was for himself. He has such a big heart :). We went up to Teri's on Christmas Eve and exchanged gifts with the cousins and it was fun to see him get so excited and Kaitlyn finally figured out what all the gifts were and wanted to just start ripping into them all haha. It was fun :)

The kids had a good Christmas, Aiden said he got everything he ever wanted and he was so happy so I'd say it was a success. 

Little Mommy

His "Everything Is Awesome" toys lol, that he HAD to have after mommy had finished her shopping so thank you Nana and Santa for coming to the rescue

Little Diva

Babywearing dolls from mommy and one of mommy's very special babywearing friends, this is such a special gift in so many ways but so hard to explain. My friend had this secretly made for me out of wraps and it looks like Kaitlyn and me, the little toddler even has Kaitlyn's red hair and little yellow rainboots that she loves and ponytail she always has. Mine even has glasses and my beauty mark haha. Very cute and Kaitlyn loves them. I hope she realizes how special they are someday.

My parents came in town Christmas night and we were able to spend a few days with them. We spent a few days with them and various cousins at the curiosity museum which was fun and some days just hanging out, so glad we got to see them, the kids loved the time with them and missed them as soon as they left.

Now I get a small lull before it's off to Cancun!
