Trip to the pool!

Before I clumsily broke my toe running into a wall, we went to the pool with cousins for the first time this year! Kaitlyn needed a nap so she was a bit grumpy and cold but eventually warmed up to it.

I found this on the camera, I have no idea when it's from but it was adorable

At first it was ok

Then some tasting of the water

Aiden voluntarily(kind of) went down the slide. Poor kid doesn't realize you get way more water in your face going down on your tummy

He did love the lazy river though. I think he was pretending to be a shark and chasing me haha

Then she ended up clinging on to me for dear life for half an hour

Aiden tried to cheer her up

Steve and the girls braved the bucket

Kaitlyn needed a snuggle out of the pool for a minute

 

Unfortunately after this the camera died. All Kaitlyn needed was a snuggle out of the pool because once we got back in she was dancing and splashing and laughing and waving and chatting at everyone who walked by. Steve started shooting her with a water cannon and she would just give him a cheesy smile and wave. Happiest little bug ever and I have no pictures of it haha. It was fun though and I am excited for more pool trips and summer!
