Banks Lake Trip Washington

Sorry these are so delayed. I was working on editing wedding photos for weeks so I am finally done and can get the blog back up to date. I have no idea what order these go in so this will probably be a very disorganized blog post haha

We had to be cramped into a rental car since SOMEONE decided to crash my car the week before our trip (as if I weren't stressed enough planning for it). On the drive up we followed Steve and he decided to buy walkie talkies so I had to listen to Jeremy and Steve the whole drive up(anybody who knows them knows why that would be awful lol)...Aiden did great(he's always been easy on long car rides) but Kaitlyn hates her car seat and hated being fed from a bottle (even though we stopped every 3 hours so I could breastfeed she was going through a growth spurt so was eating every 1.5 so I had to be pumping...) so she did not enjoy the trip (probably the only time the whole trip she wasn't her usual happy self).

Finally we got there! The first night we had a huge storm that kept me up all night yet amazingly enough everyone else slept right through it. I was worried Kaitlyn wouldn't do well since Aiden never did well travelling but she did great! She was just happy and hung out the whole week.

Blakely and Aiden were little trouble makers all week, we were always chasing them down after they'd run off (like when Aiden ran off to go be a peeping tom to some poor teenage girl in a nearby camp :(!) and it was hit or miss on if they loved playing together or had to be ripped apart before Aiden choked her to death...sigh....but I did get some cute pictures of them playing together

Aiden hates deep water so most of the week went like this...

Sometimes Blakely can get Aiden to do things but she was way out there and he was having none of it

Kaitlyn on the other hand LOVES the water and while sometimes it was a bit cold for her she still had lots of fun in it

Aiden tried skiing....

So mommy had to try. My attempts were equally bad haha.  I refused to do double skis, if I was doing it at all I was doing Slalom, that's just how I am.

So obviously I just failed lol. So Jeremy decided to show me how it's done.

he even found Cameron's book and pretended to read it

And Uncle Mikey took them out fishing which he LOVED!

he's always been so good with the babies :)

The water may not have been Aiden's favorite but he loved the boat!

And of course any time I hand Mandy a camera I find one of these precious gems haha.

Papa kept making Kaitlyn smile and laugh, she loves her Nana and Papa!

Mandy, Jeremy and Steve decided to try skiing/wake boarding all at once

To avoid taking Mandy out Steve took the high road and crashed so the first try was just Mandy and Jeremy

I tried and failed to ski again but I was closer! Unfortunately my first attempt was on Wednesday, Thursday was a crappy day and Friday I only had time to try once before we had to go so I've learned the next time I need to start Monday. It's a bummer too because I know one more time on the water and I would have had it! Grr! The first time was a total flop, then I accidentally let go of the rope (ha!) and then I almost had it! uggh!

Then it was off to Tri-Cities for Ashley's Sealing! It was all so much fun and I'm glad we got to go!
