Kaitlyn is here!

Sorry I haven't posted in so long. The end of my pregnancy I got pretty miserable. And angry. And I mean ANGRY. I was constantly on the verge of ripping someone's head off and everything seemed to set me off. I was feeling huge, I had to pee everytime I stood up, my legs were swelling, oh and I have TERRIBLE braxton hicks. I wasn't sleeping and many nights I would wake up in tears the contractions were so bad, and I get HORRIBLE braxton hicks contractions that are as painful as labor and come consistently 2-3 minutes apart. For hours. Like 5+ hours. So I was so ready to be done it's not even funny. Anyways. So my mother in law so graciously agreed to come out 2 weeks early so that we would have someone to watch Aiden and wouldn't have to stress about it. Apparently Kaitlyn took that as her cue to come out. Mim got in late Wednesday and Thursday we went out to lunch, no contractions, went to the AT&T store and no contractions, get in the car after the AT&T store and my water partially breaks. So we rush to the hospital. The nurse came in and said my water hadn't completely broke it just had a tiny hole at the top or something so they had to run a bunch of tests to make sure I was really in labor (I was about to cry I was like seriously? this can NOT be fake water breaking I just couldn't handle it). And right after she leaves to go get the test results my water breaks ha. Go figure.

I went to the delivery room (this was probably around 6pm at this point) and let my labor progress until I couldn't take it anymore, got the epidural, labor stalled so I got some pitocin and very shortly after with a whopping 2 pushes at 12:34am she was out. So here is my beautiful Kaitlyn Jewel. My Grandmother's name was Jewel so that's why we chose that name and we just always loved Kaitlyn. (I know it says 12:36, the nurse said thats when she thought she was born but it was actually 12:34)

We decided to go ahead and have Aiden come, which was probably not well thought through but we were just excited and happy and not thinking clearly. Aiden was excited and just loved her. He was obsessed with how little she is, especially her nose (he still is it's kind of funny).
